Jean, I don't think you should really be having so many bruises if you inject sub cuteanously? For me, if I bruise when injecting, it usually means I've hit a small blood vessel?

Hm...thanks Julie. Am I not doing the injections correctly, then? It really seems to be hit and miss. The first one was no prob but I do seem to be hitting a lot of blood vessels. Any suggestions - please?

I wonder are you pinching up a big enough piece of flesh so that the needle isn't going too far in? Are you making sure you use the fleshiest parts of your stomach?
Are you injecting at an angle or just plunging straight in?

Hi Jean

Find an area that doesn't bruise and stick with it or change the angle of the needle as you insert it. Failing that perhaps you've got a batch of blunt needles ... seriously!

Well, girlies, with MY stomach, there isn't exactly a part that isn't "fleshy" as you know!!! I will keep on trying and see what happens. Maybe I'll try lower down my tum next time.
